Set among the rolling hills of the Balaton Highlands and in the midst of tranquil nature, the Rock Cabins offer guests seclusion, relaxation and plenty of time for each other.

The view
A panoramic view characterises the interior of each cabin, facing the surrounding nature and away from the other houses for complete privacy.

The architecture
When the architects developed the concept for the Rock Cabins, privacy was the main focus. A secluded place where guests can concentrate entirely on each other, themselves and the surrounding nature.
The sculptural buildings blend into the hilly landscape and surrounding fields, rising from the ground like giant runestones. Their solid form is interrupted only by an opening for the entrance and terrace; there are no visible windows or stairs to break up the shape.
Like a polished rock, the façade of the cabins was clad with metallic-tinted wooden panels. The existing cabins were later joined by the Rock Grand Cabins. Their exterior has a darker appearance, with large continuous glass surfaces. The interior mirrors the exterior cladding.

A look inside
An interior that is as simple as it is carefully designed: each cabin features a bedroom, kitchenette, infrared sauna, bathroom and separate toilet. The terrace offers panoramic views that guests can enjoy from their own two-person hot tub or sun loungers—perfect for a romantic getaway.
Every morning, a handmade breakfast basket is discreetly placed outside the door, as is dinner in the evening. Champagne and other catering requests are available. Besides a minibar, each cabin has its own selection of popular books.

Nature as far as the eye can see: apart from neighbouring cabins, there are no other houses nearby—the ideal setting for cycling and hiking tours.

Interesting spots
The Tapolca mill pond with its charming medieval houses is just a twenty-minute drive away. In the lake cave of Tapolca, visitors can explore the underground passages by boat. These tours have been offered since 1938.
Ancient remains such as Kinizsi and Szigliget Castle or the Klastrom ruins can also be found in the immediate vicinity.

What we love about it?
In addition to the impressive architecture, it is clearly the seclusion and privacy. Apart from checking in and out, it is quite possible that guests will not encounter any other people here.
