Behind light-coloured walls and marble balconies, the neoclassical building is a quiet homage to Greek antiquity. Colourful bookshelves and old crackling fireplaces invite guests to linger over a book at the end of the evening.

The view
Nestled in a small side street in Athens, the windows offer a glimpse into the daily life of the city – surrounded by trees and a small kiosk around the corner.

The architecture
Warm wood, cold shiny marble: Natural materials dominate the interior of the hotel. Combined with modern furnishings, the past and present form a perfect harmony. Several round arches adorn the interior of the house – a design language that can also be found in some of the furniture.

A look inside
Shelves filled with books, walls adorned with pictures: the softly lit rooms invite guests to linger and enjoy a cosy chat. While the majority of the building is kept in earth tones, bright colours occasionally appear – as a contrast to the older elements.

The city
A city that still has the breath of ancient philosophers in it: an ideal place for culture vultures and lovers of the sea. The city offers numerous sights – luckily some are in close proximity to each other.
The streets are lined with cosy tavernas, excellent restaurants and bars. Those looking for the tourist hustle and bustle will find it in the old town district of Pláka – the neighbouring district of Psyrri is mostly home to locals.

Interesting spots
Apart from the ancient ruins, the city has many other cultural attractions to offer – such as the SNFCC. This centre not only hosts exhibitions and performances, but also sports activities.
Those looking for something special in Athens don’t have to look far: whether it’s graphic silk scarves from Mantility, Greek herbs from the Naxos Apothecary or delicious food at Park Bench – there is definitely something for everyone.
