Drawing from nature, science, art, history and photography, Camille Jacobs creates glass vessels that are as precise as they are colourful. In her studio in Keispelt, Luxembourg, Jacobs explores abstraction and colour theory. ‘My goal is to achieve a perfect harmony between form, dimension, medium and colour.’ she explains.
Using screen-printed layers of glass, her process begins by fusing and moulding them in the kiln whilst they are still hot – capturing the movement in a solid form. Every piece is then polished to a luminous finish, becoming a radiant expression of her meticulous craftsmanship and creative vision.
